Condoleezza Rice Women Who Inspire Lecture Series

The Foreign Policy Institute (FPI) at Johns Hopkins SAIS has been proud to have been the home of the Condoleezza Rice Women Who Inspire Lecture Series. It is with great appreciation that FPI acknowledges the leadership of Senior Fellow Shirin Tahir-Kheli in spearheading the series, which since 2015 has celebrated women leaders at the forefront of global affairs as inspirations for the next generation of policymakers and changemakers.

FPI is excited to join Johns Hopkins SAIS in announcing that the lecture series has become the Rice Family Fellowship, an annual fellowship to be awarded to an outstanding first-year student, carrying forward the series’ original mission to elevate women’s voices and influence in global policy by ensuring that financial barriers never stand in the way of their education or impact.

This evolution reflects the school’s enduring commitment to access, inclusion, and excellence in international policy education, honoring the vision of Dr. Tahir-Kheli, Dr. Rice, and other generous donors through direct investment in SAIS students. We will have more information to share as the fellowship is established and awarded.
